Hmmm, I'm unfamiliar with Publix, here I find it in with the hummus/prepared artichoke dip stuff. At Walmart it was in with the guacamole. Hope this helps! :)

SUGAR, SUGAR, SUGAR!! / Re: I'm new to FTS, and I'm excited

Welcome fellow noobs! What Tony said!! Keep it simple until you get your bearings. I generally eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day. Breakfast is a low carb tortilla, half slice of Colby jack cheese, a scrambled egg and a slice of bacon (I cook bacon ahead and freeze it)... keeps me full for hours! Lunch is usually on the run, smoked turkey rolled up, string cheese and snap peas. Dinner is usually chicken and veggies or a salad. drink lots of water! For sweet cravings, you can't beat the sugar free jello chocolate mousse with sugar free whipped cream (Land o Lakes makes a good one in a spray can). Good luck, know that the first week or two will be rough, you'll do just fine! :)

Thanks Tony' yeah, I am a wee bit nervous about getting hurt... most of the women I skate with are half my age. :( I certainly don't get up as fast as I used to. ;)

Ah, got it Umpa. I was trying to find the derby-Snooki connection. ;)

It does get toasty in the summer, but I'm a wimp about winter. Living in Ohio nearly killed me. :(

Awww... thanks!  ;D My kids are at such a fun age now (11, 12)... I wasn't a big fan of the baby/toddler years. ;)

I love derby... where else is hitting people not only allowed but encouraged? Super stress reliever. The extra weight is an asset for blocking, but sadly it's giving my knees grief (I'm currently sitting out with a knee problem, and missing it dearly). Losing the weight will certainly help with agility. And jeans shopping. ;)

So, tipping my ignorance card here... the Snookie reference is totally lost on me? I know who she is... but I've never watched the show.

I'm not sure I can do 3.5 lbs a week either. While I stick fairly close to FTS, I'm eating more green things and that bumps my carb count up a bit over 20.

Umpa, you crack me up. ;) Here you go... with my kiddos. This was a month or so ago before I chopped off my hair.  ;D

You have family all over Texas. I've lived in Houston and the coast... Austin's where it's at. :)

Yikes! Is that do-able? Three and a half pounds a week? I'm still a noob on day seven, but I've only lost just shy of three pounds this week.

Just wanted to make sure... seems like it would stay fairly firm otherwise? Can't wait to try it. :)

Are you using raw or cooked cauliflower?

Your alfredo recipe is very similar to mine, I just never make it because I'm married to a health nut (not sure how that happened). I need to convince him it's healthy after all. ;)

*drool* I'm making that soon.... thanks :)

I could live on Alfredo sauce alone. What else do you put on your white pizza? What do you use for a crust?
