Not sure if anything similar has been posted or not, but found this awesome way to make a "Lower" carb pizza by simply using cauliflower as the crust...

Okay, we're 2 days away from Super Bowl Sunday! ;D

Throw up some recipes for the BIG GAME!

I'll Start.............

Buffalo Wings

1- Season your chicken wings with your choice of seasoning.  I like to also coat in Olive Oil so that while they are baking they get a little crispy,
2- Bake in oven @ 400 degress for about 30 mins, or until  just before completely done.
3- Toss in 1 Bottle of Frank's Buffalo Sauce to coat wings thoroughly.
4- Turn oven up to 500 degrees and bake for another 10 mins to finish off the cooking process, as well as mending that sauce to the wings.
5- Eat up!!!!!

Carb Info: Total Carbohydrates    <1 g per serving (Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce) 23 servings per bottle.

Another good substitute for the Red Sauce, if your wanting that "Chili" flavor, is the Texas Pete Chili Sauce.  1g carb per servings.  I could eat it out of the can, lol!  Very good!  I use it in making my Low Carb Chili.  ;D

If ya like Orange Cream cicles, add Sugar-Free Orange Drink Mix to the Vanilla Whey shake and YUMM-O!!!!!!!!!  8)

Thanks everyone!

Tony,

I do use the same ingredients to an extent.  Your mention of Veal sounds very good!  We tend to use Ground Chicken for a ground beef substitute, not only for flavor, but it is very reasonably priced.  At our local Giant Food store they usually always have it for $2.99/lb, vs Ground Turkey or Beef, which keep going up and are well over $3.50/lb!  :o  My family loves it though!  I use it in spaghetti, meatloaf, lasagna......all LC friendly of course.   8)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes and suggestions.  Thanksgiving went very well!  I ended up doing almost all of the cooking..... ;)  Here's what I made:

Jicama Scalloped Fauxtatoes
LC Green Bean Casserole
Sausage Stuffing
Mashed Cheddar/Turnips Fauxtatoes
Pumpkin Pie Bake w/ Low Carb whipped Topping, that I made myself.
............And we had a Ham on the bone smoked at a local BBQ place.

Was very yummy and the family, for the most part, tried a little of everything.  I had leftovers for a week, so I was thrilled! 8)

Not that this dish doesn't sound yummy enough already, but I think sprinkling some coarsely ground Pork rinds would just take this dish over the top!

I made sausage balls the day after Thanksgiving this year, and my wife and girls love them!

2 lbs Breakfast Sausage (Read label for carbs)
8 oz Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Golden Flax Meal
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 egg w/ tsp of Heavy Cream (Mixed)

Roll in to 1/2 dollar size balls
Cook for 20 mins in oven @ 400 degrees F

You can add more or less Meal and Parmesan, depending on the consistency you want.  The Flax meal really made a great substitute for Bisquick.

Gonna make Jalapeno poppers and armadillo eggs for Christmas!  8)

I know that I have read that Aspartame can stall ones weight loss, as well as caffeine.  I mention the Aspartame only because you mentioned that you drank Sprite Zero.  Try Diet Rite, which contains Splenda, but limit it to one a day.  You may want to try to cut down on the coffee as well, maybe 1 cup/day.  Try it for a week, and if your results don't change then you know that's not your problem.  But I would try each separately.  Good luck!

I found that the recipe with Cream Cheese tasted the best.  It really had the closest consistency to Mashed Potatoes that I have made.  I added a little minced garlic to my melted butter, then also stirred in Shredded Cheddar cheese, so it tastes a lot like Cheesy Potatoes!  ;D

Anyone have a Low-Carb Menu planned out for Thanksgiving?  If so, can you share your recipes, or what you are having?
