I was having trouble with cravings tonight so I decided to hop over here for inspiration and happened upon this post. I watch a lot of tv shows about morbidly obese people because I can relate to them (I weigh over 300 pounds). On a lot of the shows I've seen, the people are putting all their hopes and dreams on gastric bypass surgery. Most of them need to
lose weight before the doctor will even perform the surgery on them. I've lost and gained a lot of weight in my life and am at the second highest weight I've ever been. I'd never have the surgery; I knew someone that died from complications of gastric bypass surgery. Plus I've heard a lot of things about the nasty side effects. Of course, I can die from being overweight as well.
