It does, but will I will be at 20 carbs a day forever?  or will I eventually introduce healthy carbs such as wheat and sweet potatoes?  sorry for so many questions.  :o

Since I am new and havent read the book, I really dont know what I am in for besides that I am excited to try it and make it work.
I did read some posts about carb counting and was wondering if this is similiar to Atkins or even South Beach Diet?

[color=blue]Good morning all.  I havent officially started yet since I am waiting for my book to arrive. I did however want some pointers. I have read some posts here and there, and of course, I see a rollercoaster of ups and downs, which I expect. I would love to hear the do's and dont's of you guys and what has really worked for you all..I would also love to hear about the big DONT's.

Happy Hump Day!!!!! ;D

General Questions / Re: tomato juice

My hubby hates artificial sweetners and he LOVES sweet tea/sodas. One day, I made the Crystal Lite Lemon flavored tea and put lemon wedges in it and he asked me if I had changed the way I make it. I answered that I was trying something new and his reply was that he LOVED it. I told him it was Crystal light and from that moment on, he is an official CL drinker. Just by changing from sodas/sweet tea to CL, he lost over 10lbs.

Hello everyone. My name is Alex and I am a newbie. I just bought the cookbook and I am waiting for my book to arrive. I have struggled most of life with weight and its just really frustrating. My husband loves me for me, but I need to make the change for health reasons and because I do want to look better.
Ive heard and read good things about this program and so here I am.. I think its great that it also has this support group. What a plus..
Look forward to getting to know you all..

Alex
