Hi Lady CD!  Welcome to the forum!  I have hypothyroidism and have been on Synthroid the whole time I have done FTS.  I really don't think my thyroid issues affected my loss at all.  As long as I stayed at 20 carbs, I lost really consistently.  I have just been holding my own for the past year.  I am trying to get back to business and lose the rest of my weight now.  You have come to the right place!  We are all in this together.

Wow Faith! You are doing great!!  I remember my first few weeks on FTS.   One guy at my office made fun of me calling me "sugar free Jan".   He doesn't say that anymore!  ha ha  Hang in there!!  This is the only thing that has really worked for me.  :)

Way to go Jo!  You are doing great!   I am so happy that Tyler is doing so well too!  There is a Planet Fitness close to my office in town.  They offer an amazing deal on membership.  Not sure how all the other gyms stay in business with these folks in town!

Congrats to your son Tony!  I love it that our families are growing!  Madison & Russell are having a little private wedding,so we had a BIG party for the shower a couple weeks ago.  It was so much fun.  I hope both couples will be VERY happy!

Hey Doug!!  So glad y'all never forget us even if we are MIA for months at a time!   :D

Hey Everybody!  Life is good!   Madison is getting married on August 9th.... 15 days away!  We are excited for her, and we really like our son in law to be!  His name is Russell.

Umpa, I sold my horse after the bucking bronco fit he pulled on me.  ha ha  He definitely had some issues, but I sold him to a horse trainer.  She said he would be her "project horse".  He got a great home!    Once Madison moves out, I will be taking care of her horse, Rocky.  He's a Tennessee Walker, and he's very sweet & gentle.  I can ride him anytime, so I'm happy.

Hope everyone here is doing well and getting SKINNY!!!   ;D

Hey Jo, Tyler, and Owensmath!!   I haven't been on here much lately with everything going on.  I checked in today, and just reading a few missed posts gave me so much inspiration.  I love how I can miss a few months, come back, and ALL my old buddies are RIGHT HERE!!!   I love FTS!!    ;D

Welcome to the big 5-0 club!!  I turned 50 back in April, and it didn't hurt a bit.  ;)  I feel WAY better than I did back in my 40's before I discovered FTS.

Hey Tony!...Yes, a bucking horse is scary.  I hung on as long as I could, but I KNEW I was going off.  I was able to think quick enough to not catch myself with my hands (knew of a guy who broke BOTH wrists like that.)  I did get right back on for a couple laps around the ring, just because EVERYONE says you HAVE to get back on.  I figured at that point, I was already numb....and it couldn't hurt any worse. ha ha   :D

Hey Umpa!  hmmm...make a gym of the empty bedroom!  Now THERE'S an idea!!   ::)

Thanks!  We are excited for her.   She is SO different from me.  I had the big traditional wedding with TEN bridesmaids (not kidding).   They just want a small wedding up in the mountains at the Alpine Chapel in Helen, GA.  She's planning to wear a white eyelet dress with cowboy boots.   I'm thinking it's gonna be really hot to wear cowboy boots in Georgia in AUGUST ....but it's HER day!  lol   Oh!....and we get our empty nest back!    ;D

Hey FTS family!  Sorry I have been missing in action.  Please know I am still on board (had a yummy flax seed muffin topped with whipped cream cheese & sugar free strawberry preserves for breakfast!  :)

I HAD been busy with the horses....until Good Friday. Rambo, pitched a tantrum and bucked me off.  :-\ I didn't have any broken bones...just bruised up pretty bad and really sore for a couple weeks.  After lots of thought, I decided I wasn't willing to risk another fall like that again at 50 years old.  A sweet couple bought him from me.  The lady is a horse trainer who also gives riding lessons.   When she came for a "test ride"  he bucked HER off too!  Scared me to death.   Well, she bought him anyway and said he would be a project horse for her.   Apparently, Rambo was NOT the "beginners or child's horse" he was advertised to me as being.  So thankful I wasn't hurt worse.

Next thing....our daughter is engaged and getting married on August 9th!  We are excited and busy making plans for a small wedding.  Also there's the house to decorate, and it's all so much fun!  We will still have her horse at our house after she gets married, so I can still ride (a GOOD horse) anytime I want.  ;)

We were out of town week before last on vacation, so hopefully now I can settle back into "the real world".  ha ha  I am hoping to be checking in with all of you more often!  I've missed you guys!!   ;D
