Able to be a bit more active now...after the accidient/surgery in August went from bedridden to wheel chair to walker to crutches and now 1 crutch (only cuz it's scary to toatally go cold turkey without it ) and started swimming for therapy so I'm looking forward to a bit more poundage dropping off my body with all the activity ::)

Just tried Joagain's idea,  baked a Totilla Factory tortilla , brushed  with evoo, sprinkled one side with onion granular and the other with garrlic granular and sea salt, then cut it into strips with scissors and baked at 450 untill browned....YUM !!!!  I found the answer to my crispy snack cravings ! One tortilla really made alot too !!  For only 6 carbs....I'm now a happy snacker

Ohhh Great ideas !! Thanks all  ;D  I'm not a skin of any kind fan but the idea of toasting my Tortilla Factory tortillas is a great idea...I can sprinkle them with garlic or onion granular !! Now why didn't I think of that ??  Also love the idea of making my own crackers and will look into recipes for those Thanks Everyone !

The Sensato hot cereal I ordered was delivered ,  I tried the Vanilla Almond this morning and was pleasantly surprised . Nice flavor,  only 1 carb for a 1/2 c serving and actually it was so filling  I plan on making 1/4 c next time .  It was really nice to have a hot bowl of cereal, I've been missing my oatmeal every morning but this is really good !!

Hey I can think of worse things to be addicted to than celery ! Keep in mind 2 stalks is 1.5 carbs ... Just started out so  I'm sticking to the veggies in Dougs book untill I reach my goal ( which doesn't include carrots) I'm not sure what the carbs are but it must be on the high side for them not to be listed and 1 small tomato is 3 carbs so be careful on the veggies trays...It sure does'nt take long to reach 20 carbs a day if I'm not mindful...Although making up a 0 carb platter was easier than I thought with the help of suggestions from Umpa ( Dougs Wife)   0 carb deviled eggs, string cheese, sharp cheddar, sliced roast beef, turkey,( no glaze ) ham...Easy 0 carb pickens at my finger tips when needed

7lbs. Is AMAZING !  I like to equate it this way... Try carrying around a 7lb bag of rocks for a day and see how amazing it feels to put it down !!  That's ALOT of weight off your body !!  I'm down 10 so I'm picturing  holding a 5lb bag of rocks in each hand  :o    Giving up Tea, Coffee, Soda is a big step, not sure about the cramps, I know for myself I get headachy if I go cold turkey on caffeine so I have one cup in the AM. Also  I found a great soda to ween me off  Pepsi or Coke called Diet Rite Pure Zero Cola , 12 oz. can has 0 Cal. 0 Carbs. 0 Sodium...Also found flavored selzer waters like lime, cranberry lime, etc.  are a nice alternative to plain water.  Wishing you more success !  You certainly are off to a great start
