General Discussion / Peanut Brittle
« on: December 04, 2010, 05:13:57 PM »
We found some See's sugar free peanut brittle and now I am on a mission to find a good recipe.  The only one I could find calls for  1 TBS corn syrup!  Anyone have a recipe?

Going on our first cruise in February and the first thing we checked out was the availability of FTS friendly food.  Does not seem to be an issue, we are really looking forward to it. Ours is on Carnival too, looking forward to hearing some tips and tricks!

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL the FORUM FAMILY.  Keeping it simple here with Pork Loin Carbonara, tofu mac n cheese with Italian cheeses, golden flax seed meal garlic bread, garden salad with blue cheese dressing and blackberry/linzer shortcake for dessert.  My splurge will be some cabernet sauvignon! Be Blessed All of You ;D ;D

Yes Umpa, I was sitting in the hot tub on the deck while the wind was blowing snowflakes on my cheeks(maybe I should say face).  It was awesome.  We had a great time.  Ate some pecan encrusted trout at Salty Dog's in Maggie Valley and thought about you!

She shares some pretty good ideas for pork rinds
and I make the pork rind cookies pretty often. The dressing is only 2 carbs per serving, not too bad for a holiday replacement.
