I am at 2 1/2 weeks and I have very little energy and am generally feeling low.  :(  What's going on?  Has anyone else done this?

General Discussion / Fast food advice (Please)

I am going to go on vacation in 1 week and I am trying to figure out what or how I can eat at fast food places.  We are going with another couple and I know he loves to eat at Taco Bell, I don't have a clue as to what I can eat there.

 I could use some more suggestions of things that I can bring to eat.  I will not have a refrigerator or any means to cook or warm things.  I will have a small ice chest.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! :)

Ask Umpa / Splenda in place of Xylitol

Hi Umpa,  I am waiting for an order of xylitol to come in but would like to bake something.  My question is if I use splenda instead of xylitol would I use the same amount if I were to make snickerdoodles?

I don't know if you read my post in regards to Pasta, but I am hoping you come up with a recipe for spaghetti noodles soon, being Italian I need something close to the real thing ;)  I am counting on you girl... I know you can do it. :D :D :D

I don't get hungry until around noon usually so I was wondering if that is bad because people say you have to eat in the morning to get your metabolism going.  Of course then I only eat 2 meals a day. So, should I make myself eat something in the morning or keep doing as I have been? 

I have 2 weeks behind me but I have noticed the last 3 days I have been extremely tired and my family has said I look it.  Any ideas why???

I am a little frustrated I just weighed myself (week 2) and I only lost 2 lbs!  Wow, that was a far cry from the 9 lbs I lost the first week.  What am I doing wrong?  I posted my meal plans, I drink lots of water and ride my bike at least 6 miles a day.

I don't eat until around noon because I am not hungry until then.

Please advise me??

Hi Everyone,  you may already know about this but if you don't I am excited to share.  I found a naturally flavored sparkling water it's "Cascade Ice", there is No Carbs, No Sugar, and No Sodium.  It tastes really good too!

Hi there Everyone,

I am so excited, had another good day.  Shoveled snow then rode my stationary bike 6 miles in 30 minutes. 

I made my family fried chicken tenders for dinner tonight, but for myself I put flax seed meal, Lawry's, garlic, salt, and pepper on a plate lightly covered my chicken and fried it in extra virgin olive oil.  It was great and just enough crunch.  My family tasted mine and wondered why they weren't eating the same thing.

Is there anything I can use in place of the GG Bran Crispbread?  I hate to have to order so much and not like it.
So, if there is something comparable that can be purchased at most stores I would appreciate the information.

I am also a little concerned about whether or not I am getting enough calcium and vitamin D.  Osteoporosis is very prevalent in my family.

General Discussion / In The Beginning...

Hi there, today is the beginning of a new chapter in my life.  I purchased "Fat To Skinny" yesterday afternoon and read it last night.  So, today was my 1st of 3 days to figure out my feeding times.  So, I ate twice today.  I wasn't hungry until 1:00 this afternoon at which time I ate a 3 egg omelet with cheddar cheese, spinach, and mushrooms.  Then at 6:30, I wasn't real hungry so I just ate a salad.  It will be interesting to see what tomorrow will bring.  I did miss my glass of milk at dinner... oh well
