General Discussion / What if your favorite food right now?

Since I changed my way of eating a few months ago I have found I crave different foods almost weekly. Two weeks ago I was hooked on roast beef, I was putting it in omeletes and anyway else I could find to eat it. Now I am hooked on boiled eggs sliced in my salad. I just can't get enough. I was wondering if everyone else is doing this too and if so what is your favorite of the week?

Hi guys I was wondering what is your favorite salad dressing? I am of course talking low carb and yummy. I have been using Blue Cheese with 0 sugar and 2 carbs but I would love to find something similar with no carbs. Any suggestions?

I am so excited, I just weighed in and I have lost 42 pounds in the seven weeks!! That's the size of a young child!!! I have tried so many times to lose weight and nothing seems to do it. I am thrilled that this is so easy and I am able to incorporate it into my everyday life without a lot of hassle. I still have a ways to go but I can totally see a new me by this time next year!

General Discussion / OMG the smell of pizza is killing me

My husband has some work associates over and they all decided to order pizza, but not just any pizza my very favorite in the whole world. Although my husband knows we aren't doing carbs he didn't say anything to them. So they ordered THREE HUGE New York style pizza's with all the trimmings. I am sitting here at my computer DYING because it smells SO GOOD. I don't know if I am going to make it through this one!!!! HELP!!!

I am hosting Easter dinner tomorrow and I am having a wine dilemma. I have to have some here for everyone for dinner and I would love to be able to have a glass as well. Is there a wine that is okay for us to drink?

General Discussion / First Day of the rest of my new life

Hello! I am so glad to have found this forum. My name is Sherri and I am so excited to start this new way of thinking and living. I am tried EVERYTHING and I mean everything and it never works. I loose some for a while but nothing permanently. I found the book and it called to me. I have set for today to be the first day, my husband and son aren't thrilled about it but they are going to try it out too. I am a diet pepsi-aholic so that is going to be tough, also I am an all day snacker..so that will be tough not to have my normal cookies. But I am excited and going to do it. I run a business from home and sometimes it just feels like I am hiding out, embarrassed of my weight. I am ready to not be embarrassed and to start living my life.
