Getting discouraged...but staying the course
« on: March 16, 2011, 01:39:54 PM »
The scale hasn't changed in 2 weeks.  Can someone help me!  I must be eating something I don't know has tons of sugar because I am exercising (3 days per week...wish it could be more) and I drink enough water that the fish are jealous.

I won't quit, but I'd like to see some results!

Thanks guys

Best thing to do is list EVERYTHING your eating and drinking over a two or three day period including portions here on the forum. That way we can pick it apart and see where the problem lies.  ;)

Been there, done that.  :D

Like Doug said, write everything down and make sure you're not eating too much of something or even too little. My killing point is cheese. I can eat four+ slices of cheddar cheese just while fixing dinner! Ugh!

This is a HUGE problem for us cooks out there and it does and will stop your weight loss. As prescribed in the book chew sugar free gum while cooking to avoid eating. Trust me you will not put a piece of cheddar cheese in your mouth while you chew on peppermint gum ;)

Hi momx04!  :)

It's been 3 weeks for me.
And some here, it's been MUCH longer.
