Hash Browns
« on: March 31, 2010, 04:35:43 AM »
Hi Everyone!

The morning after I have made cauliflower "mashed potatos" I fry up the leftovers for breakfast with a couple of rashers of turkey bacon.  It's very good due to the butter and mayonaise used in the mash!

Another very good replacement for hash browns is grated Jicama. To see what Jicama is check out the Jicama video on the cooking show board.

Rashers of bacon just means regular strips of bacon.  Maybe it's an English thing!  I am English and every so often i still come out with these things even though i've lived here 20 years.  We also use the term "streaky" bacon which I haven't heard  in the US
