Paula, I am so determined to get this weight off and reverse my diabeties. I am not getting any younger and its sad to say but I can feel the strain that poor eating habits have on me.. Though I have already incorporated some changes, I need to do the complete crossover and the only way is by making the time.. Last night I did some of the things that needed to be done today just so I can dedicate this time to it.. I also decided that today, I was going to focus on this and nothing else.. yay

Hi Alex, set an extra plate, I'll be spending the week with you! Looks like a delicious week at your house....and to think we can eat this way and get skinny....who would have guessed :)

The only question I have for you is  Day 3 Dinner;

Doug's Bacon wrapped fillet with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli

I assume you mean cauliflower mash?

Other than that watch your portion control  ;)

oh yes Doug..  hahaha I wrote it just like the book says it but now I realize that I didnt put the ""..

and yes, portions are being managed.. Its like I told everyone in the house, at first you may be a little hungry, but once we get past the detox and portion ratio, we will be fine.. I also told them that if it gets to be too much, that I rather them get a piece of cheese than go crazy..

Put the snack trays in the fridge.They are in the book.(meatroll ups ,chicken wings,deviled eggs,etc) .That way they are getting pure protien when they feel hungry.When kids open a fridge(and umpas) they eat whats at eye level.You don't want your family to feel *hungry* especially when they are detoxing. :)
