So, here is how it looks, but I see the doctor on Jan 6th for him to see and interpret the results.
Before FTS:
In March: hA1C was 11, cholesterol was too high (don't remember the actual number)
After starting FTS in April (and starting on metformin)
In June: hA1C was 6.4, cholesterol was close to normal
This week: hA1C is 5.8, cholesterol is 152, down 51 pounds since starting FTS and 76 pounds total.
However, now my TSH is showing up as "abnormal" on this lab's results 4.920 and it says that the limits are 0.450 - 4.500. I have read online today about this and it seems that there are variations in the limits on what NORMAL is for this issue. This makes some sense to me after having read a lot of information today about one of the main symptoms I have been experiencing: I am cold all the time, so much more than I used to be and so much colder than my family is in the same environment. I cannot get warm enough at night. I sleep in about three layers of clothes (sweaters) and I'm under sheets, blanket, and comforter.
Anyone have any ideas or information?
