I see some references in posts to Xylitol but I hadn't seen it mentioned in FTS...What is it and how is it to be used ?

Xylitol is a natural sweetener made from birch trees.  I buy it at my local health food store.  Some people order it from Amazon or Netrition.  It has 0 net carbs.  I understand it has been around for a long time, but maybe not as popular as it is now or maybe Doug wasn't aware of it when he wrote his book.

Hi Bella!  :)

There has been quite a bit written about it in this forum (especially a LOT of recipes that use it) and some pet warnings as well.

Just go to the "Home" page of the FTS forum and search "Xylitol".
What you do today is what matters!
