I think it's because you are burning up fat layers and not retaining water because of this lifestyle. Fat layers are bulky so as it's burned up and you loose all the water you loose lots of inches and are more defined.  I'm sure there is a more technical way to explain it but I think you probably get the point. lol

And thank you beebs!  I thought about stopping here but I still have fat where I don't want it in my upper body and I want a little wiggle room to play with my carb amounts so if I gain a few pounds it won't freak me out. lol  Right now, it would freak me out to gain so I'm trying to get down to my ideal weight and see how I feel.
