Failure can be measured by the steps we don't take.

We cooked a Christmas turkey in a Weber kettle when it was minus 10 degrees outside.  The trick was not taking the cover off and positioning the lid so we could use a flashlight to see the thermometer to tell when it was done.  We were visiting family in Illinois and wanted the turkey our way.

Nothing beats a cast iron skillet for frying. ;)

There are very expensive stainless skillets (with alloy core for heat retention) available.
But, to me, cast iron is every bit as good and much cheaper!

Only when you have muscles Tony.  Those things weigh a ton.  Wanted to buy a cast iron pot/lid to casserole in.  Changed mind after picking it up a couple of times.  Wow - heavyyyyyyy.

In my fryer it takes about 10 minutes a pound.  It's pretty easy.....I rub it down and maybe inject it the night before and when I'm ready....set him in like he is sitting, put the thermometer in and walk away...easy peasy  ;D
