Paying for my Valentine Dinner
« on: February 13, 2011, 02:33:35 PM »
Well I went to a Chinese resturant yesterday for lunch because my hubby was off so we went to our Valentine Dinner . I thought I was be careful but I guess I was not . I did not eat any supper I felt like a stuffed pig . So I went to bed and at 1am I woke up with what felt like serious hunger pains . I made myself go back to sleep then when I got up this morning they are worse .
I have not went over my carbs at all since sept except by 1-5 . so I guess  my stomach is having a problem with it . I made my breakfst thinking it would get better and nope still felt hungry went to the internet it is a sign of Gastris/acid reflux . I also have a headach .
Oh well just wanted to warn the new people that even after 6 months if you slip up you will pay ! And also to let all the others know what a DUMA@## I am .  :P :P :P :P :P :P

Please someone tell me how long this will last ?

When you go out for Chinese ALWAYS have your food made fresh in a clean wok. Stir fried veggies and protein of your choice in oil only, no sauces. Make sure to avoid the carrots, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. Stick with the celery, cabages and bok choy a bit of onion and a few snow pea pods. Enjoy the hot mustard and the soy sauce. Stay away from the sweet sauces and the Teriyaki. Explain to the waitstaff that you have a terrible allergy to sugar and starches of all kinds. I'm certain they will accommodate you and if they don't ....leave and find a restaurant that will then patronize them.  8)

One other thing that Chinese restaurants are notorious for, is adding MSG.
You have to insist that they do not use it and hope that they listen to you.

MSG is NOT good for anyone!
And if you are sensitive to it, many bad consequences can come out of your "meal".

It will give me hunger pangs and sometimes severe gas.
The stuff will make my wife VERY ill.
What you do today is what matters!
