i cheated yesterday and lost 1 pound, go figure

anyway back on track today

1 egg
3 pc bacon
1 sausage
__________
1 carb

subway club salad
lettuce
spinach
onion
black olives
green pepper
pickles
banana peppers
with all sorts of meat
red wine vigette
_________________
not sure on the carbs
the dressing had none along with
the meat
the rest i ate a little probably 1 cup of all the
salad together

protein drink

Hi Denise! :)

If you did not cheat yesterday, you might have lost more than a pound.
But you can't redo yesterday.
So avoid cheating... It will only slow you down (at best), or cause weight gain (at worst).

Watch out for onions.... They are high in carbs (see Doug's Little Yellow Book).

I'm guessing the salad your describe probably has about 7-10 net carb grams (depending on size and how much onion, etc.).
What you do today is what matters!

Think of what you ate that was cheating.  You probably could have come up with a FTS alternative if you would have planned ahead.  Fill your purse up with things to help you out so you don't get caught off guard again.  If it was an old favourite thing to eat, ask Doug, Umpa or the FST forum members and we can help you find an alternative if you don't already know what you could have had instead.  Just don't dwell on the situation, but plan ahead for next time.

Denise hopefully the 1 pound will not come back  with a extra 1 . That has happen to me with not a cheat but to many hidden carbs  when I went out to eat becareful .
 But what is done is done today is a new day !
