Hi,
I have a question about measuring servings of whipped cream from a can. How do you all measure a serving? Here what I’m thinking. It’s think about 4 inches per carb, which isn’t much at all but I might be wrong.
The can says:
1) 85 servings per can
2) 15 ounces - 425 grams
(Because it says 425 grams we know that the 15 ounces refers to weight not to US liquid ounces)
3) 2 tablespoons equal 1 carb.
So if you squirt some into a 2 tablespoon measuring spoon, it doesn’t seem like all that much for a carb. I sprayed a length of it out, and was able to get roughly 4 inches of it into the 2 tablespoon measuring spoon. So that would mean a whole can is 85 servings at 4 inches per serving making a whole can roughly 28 feet of delicious goodness at 85 carbs per can. Does all this all correct?
If you spray say a few feet of it into a bowl, let it “melt” then when the air comes out, it goes back to its base form, an airless non foamy liquid, for sure 2 tablespoons of that base liquid equals a ton more of sprayed whipped cream infused with air. As I see it, there is no way the serving size can referring to be 2 tablespoons of the base liquid per carb because 2 tablespoons of the base liquid x 85 servings would be 85 ounces. There is no way 85 ounces would fit into that can. You’d need a can somewhere between a half gallon and a gallon to hold 85 ounces. So 4 inches per carb is what I come up with. Anyone care to chime in?
