If one stays on the Change of life...

Just a thought I had. (maybe I should quit thinking?!)If we stay on the right track and our stomaches shrink, and we eat like we're supposed to, isn't that the same thing as the gastric bypass surgery? Except one is surgery and one isn't?
If you stick to the Fat To Skinny, it honestly doesn't take that long for your stomache to shrink! Why on earth would people want to have that kind of surgery done, just because they want quick results? Rome wasn't built in a day! I have been eating wayyy less than when I started! And although, I am not seeing the "physical" results YET! I know I will Without surgery! and the scale doesn't lie! So far I'm at 223!

gradual weight loss is a good thing in my book..as long as you are losing that is all that matters..  Some people do not have the will and turn to surgery and some are a desperate stage of their lives and though I wouldnt do the bypass, I really do understand their desperation.

@Alex. Yeah, I see your point. It does get discouraging, but I figure while I'm "young" enough, I would rather do it this way.

Hi snobles! :)

I don't know of any age restrictions on eating in a healthy low-carb way!
I swear, I feel 15 years younger than I did when I started in August 2010! ;D

One thing many overweight people forget... They spent many YEARS getting as fat as they are.
And yet, they fret when a few weeks does not meet their weight loss expectations.
If we were all as patient getting slim as we were getting fat, we'd be a bunch happier!.. Wouldn't we? ;)

Alex agrees with my doctor.
He told me that if I expect to stay slim for the rest of my life, I must allow my body to take the time it needs getting there.
I believe this is true for all of us!

What you do today is what matters!
