I love how the food industries lie...
« on: June 01, 2011, 05:55:11 PM »
Today as I was walking around the grocery store  ;D I was organizing shelves, and I saw the smaller bottles of minute maid, you know the ones who "claim" to Nourish Your Brain? I looked on the back for the carb count, and guess? Had 42 carbs in it! Love the false advertisements! and also, how some products say no salt! Look on the back of the lable and the number 10 is for sodium! I just can't believe how they trick the general public! So sad, that people don't read labels!

Both of you are absolutely correct! :)

Also, complete accuracy on nutrient counts (like carbs) would go a long way to help the public too!
What you do today is what matters!

Gotta read those ingredient lists! :) I think people want to believe the carb counts on products they know are wrong! :D
