i sent my son out today to get canderel sweetener as i was assuming it would be low carb...how wrong was i..it had 93.6g carb in it...well it's going back to the shop...i don't know what other sweeteners there is but i'll have to go searching..xx

Stevia is all natural.You can buy it in granuals(like sugar),or in packets or grow your own.You can also buy the leaves dried at health food stores and on internet.It is alot sweeter so a little goes a long way.

My husband has been in Annapolis visiting our son for a few days. Yesterday I asked him to go shopping around for xylitol because they have a lot more places to look than we do in my little mountain town. Whole Foods didn't have it and the guy at GNC in the mall told him, "We only sell natural sweeteners here." I thought xylitol was one of the natural ones. Am I wrong?

i don't think stevia is available here...i'll have a look online for sweetener though.... ???

Owensmath xylitol  powder is 100% birchbark. You cant get much more natural than that!

I was a little confused when my husband mentioned that "natural" comment to me. I thought I remembered reading on here that it was recommended because it was natural.
