Help!! Clarification on "Hearty Country Loaf" Recipe

Good Morning Umpa,
Looking at the Recipe for Hearty Country Loaf bread and the first ingredient is 1/3rd cup of yeast!!!!  Each package is 1/4 oz. (7 gr)  Lordy, do I put one third of a cup????  Help!!!

1/3rd cup of bakers yeast (16 teaspoons) is 5.5 net carbs, I'm not sure what kind of yeast your using but are you sure you're reading the package correctly. The average package of yeast weighs in at 7 grams total weight 1/4 ounce.

Hey Doug, Thanks for your reply.  The package says 7 grams for a total weight of 1/4 ounce.  Soooooo, I hate to be so dense but how many teaspoons are in 1/4 oz. or one 7gram package.  So how many pkgs do I need to use?

1 of your 1/4 ounce packets =  2 1/4 teaspoons. 1/3 cup of yeast is 16 teaspoons....use 7 packets of yeast.  ;)

I don't use the packets.I buy yeast in one pound bags.I buy redstar because it always proofs ;) I also keep it in the fridge or freezer. :)
