The KID is Melting!

Ok, I just got a text from my son Joey.  He's been doing FTS since last Saturday and as of today he has lost 8 pounds! ;D

I am so proud of him.  I just had to share the news.

As for me... well I'm down 5 and that's great for me!  I don't get how he's losing the weight so fast, and I'm not?  Maybe because he has more to lose?  I don't know.  I'm going to keep plugging along as I have been, and giving my baby all the praise he deserves.

He is young ,a man  & has more to lose that is probably  why tell him congrats and congrats to you too !

Woot Woot!!! That is so awesome congrats to you both!!!   I'm not sure why but it always seems that most guys drop their weight faster then the gals.  I think I heard somewhere that it is because they have more muscle mass.  Not sure though.....I'm sure that will encourage him to keep going though  ;) ;)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the posts.  I work right across the driveway from my house, and since he is home schooled he can pop in when ever he has some down time.  He doesn't make it a habit because it's a retirement home, and you know kids are.

I just wanted to cry he had a great big smile on his face, and I really think he was standing straight!  He's always mumbling and slumped over.  I love you guys!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
