Hey Jack Lalanne just passed away this past year and he 'hated' sugar....  did not eat it at all... maybe that should tell us something as he was really getting old too.

Elevated blood sugar damages our bodies and feeds diseases like cancer.

So if you want to improve your chances of a longer and healthier life, live the FTS way! ;)

The problem with that is that he may have said he hated sugar but he drank it in the juicing of all those fruits and veggies..... they may be so called "healthy" but we all know how many carbs it can have.......  and that turns into sugar ::)  I think maybe he was lucky to be as old as he was

All the processed sugar and white stuff . Toosweet I think that had we just ate fruit and not processed carb before we messed our systems up fruits probably would not have made us fat .

Before FTS I can never remember pigging out on fruit & veggies . LOL Can you ? It was that great and wonderful processed carbs  that used to taste so good  !!!

I believe one way we gain a hyper-sensitivity to carbs due to how we were fed as infants and young children.

If we were given too much sugar and/or starches at an early age, we would end up with insulin sensitivity problems and weight gain.
And if we were not given adequate opportunity to exercise and burn the glucose in our blood, weight gain would likely follow.

Everyone is different.
So how this pans out for each person will be different too.

I think mostly why I say that is because my step dad used to juice like crazy....LOL  It may not have caused his diabetes but I'm sure it didn't help much.  Who knew though that he would get so sick.  For a person like me (diabetic) in order to juice veggies and fruits you end up using a large portion.  For instance if you juice one orange it gives you very little juice.... it takes several to fill a glass that most of us would drink...... I'm thinking the carb count would be way more to juice.  You may be right though.... Maybe it's only bad after you have a messed up system...LOL  ;D
