walking

This morning we went walking again! We've actually raised the bar to six laps! By this Saturday, we're going to do the two mile thing! Our bodies are finally starting to get used to walking! and now it just feels great to be able to walk the six laps! I love walking in the mornings! It's so cool and refreshing outside! There's no way I could've done any of this before Fat To Skinny! I was just so out of shape. It's funny, I was in denial, thinking at 240, I wasn't that out of shape! Until we started walking! Woke me up! First time around the track, I thought I would need an oxygen tank! LoL...but now, it's great! I actually love excersizing now! and watching the weight just melt away!

Thank you Umpa! Couldn't have done it without y'all! I swear, I wish the world would open it's eyes! Nothing is a quick fix! You have to really want it and be dedicated to it! No pill or fad diets will ever work! Dougs book does!

Yay for you Stephanie!!! Isn't walking GREAT?!!   This week makes 8 weeks walking for me, and I really love it too! I could have NEVER done this without FTS.  I remember my first day at the track...thought I was going to DIE!!  ha ha  However, it was the middle of August in Georgia.....ha ha   I also LOVE the early morning walks.  Tony and his wife walk in the mornings too.  Nothing like being out there when it's still dark and seeing the edge of the sky start to turn pink before the sunrise.  Awesome way to start the day!!

@Maddysmom, yeah, I hear ya! On the dieing part! LoL...I thnk we started a trend though on the track! Usually it's us and another olde couple, this morning, there were 8 people walking! Haha...Our sunrises haven't started changing colors yet, but they will shortly, they  usually do at night though and are spectacular! I usually break out the camera! LoL...I'm a sucker for a beautiful sunrise/sunset!

Thank you Sherripie! At first it was a super hard task that we drug ourselves to! Now, it's a piece of cake, haha...I'm so not a morning person, so I chug a cup of coffee before I go! and I'm good to go!
