THANKS DOUG
« on: December 19, 2011, 06:13:54 PM »
Thanks Doug, my brand new book and cd came today and I just love it, cannot wait to plug in the cd! Thanks for signing it too what a treat.  Loved seeing all you all in it too that have your success stories in there. I really need it right now, plan to really spend time reading it. The mailer was torn open some and two corners damaged slightly but no worry it will be okay. Thanks again and perfect timing! ;D

Hi too sweet, I have been having some problems, I see my doctor this Friday and after that, I  plan to try to really get back with the fts lifestyle again and at the same time limit the fats and salts so my hubby can eat what I eat. He just went for his heart check up and his family doc check ups last week and both were good thank God as I was worried about that. He had 3 by pass one and half years ago, plus he has diabetes. His good cholestrol is still too low so got to get that up, but I was encouraged to know his blood work was okay, now to go face the music on me with my doctor;(
How are you all? Merry Christmas to  you and  yours.

It's nice hearing from you again Rosie! :) :) :)
I too am sorry that you've been having some problems.

I noticed that you said;
"I  plan to try to really get back with the fts lifestyle again and at the same time limit the fats and salts so my hubby can eat what I eat."

Limiting salt is a good idea as it has it will cause blood pressure to rise and too much of it can cause hardening of the arteries, among other things.

But limiting fat is another matter.

All things should be taken in moderation.
But many of us (including myself) have not paid much attention to it and still managed to DRAMATICALLY lower our blood sugar (glucose), blood fat (triglycerides), and LDL (bad) cholesterol.

If you put strict limits on your fat intake, I fear that you may cause your FTS journey to become difficult.
The last thing you want to do is deprive yourself.

Deprivation is the #1 cause of failure in diets.
That's what makes the FTS lifestyle so much different AND so successful.

You and your hubby are, as always, in my prayers.
And I wish you both a very happy and blessed Christmas!!! ;D ;D ;D
