It's nice hearing from you again Rosie!
I too am sorry that you've been having some problems.
I noticed that you said;
"
I plan to try to really get back with the fts lifestyle again and at the same time limit the fats and salts so my hubby can eat what I eat."
Limiting salt is a good idea as it has it will cause blood pressure to rise and too much of it can cause hardening of the arteries, among other things.
But limiting fat is another matter.
All things should be taken in moderation.
But many of us (including myself) have not paid much attention to it and still managed to DRAMATICALLY lower our blood sugar (glucose), blood fat (triglycerides), and LDL (bad) cholesterol.
If you put strict limits on your fat intake, I fear that you may cause your FTS journey to become difficult.
The last thing you want to do is deprive yourself.
Deprivation is the #1 cause of failure in diets.
That's what makes the FTS lifestyle so much different AND so successful.
You and your hubby are, as always, in my prayers.
And I wish you both a very happy and blessed Christmas!!!
Tony
