Rum Bon, Bons Wonderful Sugar Free Low Carb Valentine Candy Recipe!
Rum Bon Bons
Ingredients
8 ounces Luker brand Bitter chocolate, chopped
8 ounces heavy cream, scalded
½ cup Xylitol
1 tablespoon rum emulsion
½ cup finely chopped pecans
½ cup unsweetened coconut
Directions
1. Completely melt the chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat.
2. Add the cream to a medium bowl and while whisking slowly pour in the chocolate.
3. Add Xylitol and rum emulsion.
4. Continue whisking the mixture until well incorporated.
5. Put in fridge to chill for 45 minutes.
6. In one bowl put ½ cup chopped pecans.
7. In a second bowl put ½ cup unsweetened coconut.
8. Take chilled flavored Chocolate out of fridge.
9. Scoop out some flavored Chocolate and roll into ¾ inch balls.
10. Roll balls into pecans or coconut to coat and put on platter or in mini candy liners.
11. When done store in fridge.
TIP- This is definitely not a children’s candy. It contains no alcohol but has a strong dark chocolate rum flavor.
