Okay....I admit that I too love snickerdoodles.  I just checked my bakery book and the new FTS book and don't see the recipe in either place.  I also did a search here on the forums with no luck.  Where can I find this recipe?  I'm excited about Umpa doodles!

Umpa....I'm wondering if the cookies can be made with stevia? Don't some recipes need the bulk (ie - the cup of xylitol/splenda) of the dry ingredients to balance out the wet ingredients?  When I made lemon bars with xylitol, it didn't agree with me at all, even with a small serving.  The taste was awesome, but the after-effects aren't worth it to me.  I have NOW brand, non-bitter stevia packets and some SweetLeaf powdered stevia.

They are in the Fat to Skinny Bakery Book called Umpadoodles page 286. You can reduce the amount of xylitol in this recipe  by tasting or use a different sweetener.Its not a bulk issue on the bar recipes.

oh wow freeinhim, what is your after effect with the xylitol?  my recipe selection for this coming weekend is beanit butter cookies except its a soy pb that i found at Publix....im going to do the half/half like Doug does it...

Ditto on the OH MY... I just made my first batch ever of these.  OMG to die for.  I must be stingy with my one inch balls LOL though cause I ended up with 42 cookies   
I can tell you now that 3 dozen are on their way to the freezer, out of sight out of mind. One of the best FTS recipes, although I like them all, this is a favorite.
