yellow beans
« on: February 01, 2012, 12:30:02 PM »
I just noticed in my original yellow book under the vegetable list that it only has green beans listed in the carb count. Do yellow beans have the same?

I love yellow beans, a bit of butter and dill, or I used to love frying steamed beans in a little bit of butter and bread crumbs but I'm thinkin I could substitute the almond flour and it be just as good  ;)

Hi ES15! :)

The USDA's Nutrient Database lists them at about 3.73 net carbs per half cup.
One half cup is considered one serving.
See: http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/3405

They are OK as long as you count the carbs.
What you do today is what matters!
