First attempt
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:38:27 AM »
Well I'm attempting my first recipe out of the cookbook tonight, the eggplant lasagna. We're celebrating my sisters birthday and I got nominated to make dinner, well they're going to be eating my way!!! :) My mother-in-law made it for Easter last year and no one could tell the difference, and no one even realized what they were eating until someone pointed it out. Now let's just hope that I don't butcher it!!!!

We had that recipe for dinner last night with a twist, we replaced the eggplant with blanched cabbage leaves. It was WONDERFUL. Be sure to cook the cabbage leaves to almost soft prior to layering :) How did your recipe turn out?
