Fondue?

I have a fondue pot that I'm embarrassed to say I've never used.

Any low-carb ideas to melt and/or dip?

FONDUE! What a great idea!!!! It should be easy to come up with a cheese dip - even a chocolate dip - to put in a fondue pot! Where's mine???

Wow Rena!!!... A fondue pot?... Do they even sell them anymore? :D :D :D

Just kidding around!... I do remember these things at parties in the early '70s.
They were all the rage back then.

As far as ideas, think cheese, cheese, and cheese with maybe some hot sauce and a little heavy cream.
Maybe adding some chopped jalapeno peppers.
And cooking up some chunks of beef or pork or mushrooms for dipping.

Have fun!... Let your imagination run wild! ;)
What you do today is what matters!

I saw a package of cheese fondue "mix" at the store the other day. Out of curiosity, I looked at the back and they suggested the following for dipping ...

zucchini chunks
shrimp
mushrooms
bread chunks
cherry/plum tomatoes

I only remember dipping fruits in chocolate and things like bread in cheese. I'm not too crazy about raw mushrooms.
