My grandkids school did not want to hear about low carbs and I was told by a friend who works for the school that like everything else its about money. It is cheaper to buy large amounts of junk food and serve what the kids will eat because they will buy more. For breakfast they serve all carbs. Pancakes, waffles, rolls, even have a donut day. Did anyone notice that mc donalds is now serving half fries and half apples with their happy meals and is calling it healthy. What a joke.

When it comes to the gov't, it's always about the money, the power, or both!

Over 78% of my property tax goes toward our local school district.
Yet, every year they always seem to be short on funds and ask for more.

My guess is... Most of our property taxes are funding cushy salaries and pensions for bureaucrats and other noneducational uses.
Little of it reaches the school classrooms or cafeterias.
That's why so many teachers buy teaching supplies out of their own money.

This is what happens when gov't gets too big and too powerful.
It's like a cancer that keeps growing until it kills it's host.
Think about that this November!
What you do today is what matters!
