Ok everyone, it is that time of year...I am craving chili, and really want to make some. I feel that chili is mostly straight forward and shouldn't be too hard, but does anyone have any recipes they have found to be extra yummy??

I haven't made any home made chili yet, but I'm thinking for a easy fix...if you used hamburger with a little onion and chili powder added to a low carb marinara sauce you will come up with something pretty tasty.  If you want to add beans just use the black soy beans.  To soften them up more, just put them in while browning the hamburger.  I'm pretty sure it has come up before here on the forum.  Just do a search from the home page  :)

By the way.....chili dogs were all I craved when I was pregnant with my baby boy   ;D ;D

TooSweet when I had my son all I wanted was fresh fruit. I think I would have taken someone out for it! This time around, so far at least, I've been craving mango smoothies. LOL!

Get you some sugar free mango flavoring http://www26.netrition.com/torani_sf_syrup.html, add 1 cup of sugar free vanilla almond milk, 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream with ice (7-12 cubes) in the blender......voila`!!   LOL  Gotta feed the craving  ;)

I agree 100 % TooSweet!Your body craves what you need when you are pregnant ;) Me it was chinese food and chili  :D

Awesome TooSweet!! Thank you! I'll have to order some! So far I'm going up and down 4lbs, which is pretty normal for me on any given day...I gained a lot with my son, due to some health things at the time, and I'm really hoping to be able to control it this time! :)
