Any of the ingredients can be changed for different tastes. The protein powder seems to have an overly sweet taste, but the cranberries and the yogurt seem to negate the sweetness.
FRUIT Version (makes 2 14-16 oz glasses)
In a blender :
ice cubes (I fill a 16 oz glass from the ice dispenser)
about 4-5 ounces of cold water
1/2 cup plain (greek) yogart
a few frozen berries (any kind, I use cranberries and/or blueberries)
Blend enough to get the ice broken down.
Add any vitamin supplements as wanted/needed (I open the capsules and put the powders into the mix)
I add:
Vanilla or fruit flavored protein mix (I use one scoop of Body Glove Vanilla Cream- low carb @Walmart)
Physillium Fiber (1 tsp) (Plain or orange flavored)
Jarrow's "Bone-up" (Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin K, D,etc.)
Vitamin C
Hyalouronic Acid (For joints and knees)
L-Arginine (circulation)
Probiotics
Slippery Elm Bark (digestive)
Biotin (prevent hair loss)
Cinnamon (Flavor and anti-fungus)
Blend again.
Pour into glasses.
For COFFEE Flavored Smoothie
replace water and berries with 2 teaspoons instant coffee already dissolved in 3-4 ounces hot water
add one packet stevia (to sweeten the coffee)
