See also 'What Not to Wear' television program if you can. Get a book on colors for men or women so you dress in your best colors, accessories. Makes you look healthy and vibrant, not half dead/asleep/tacky.

This applies even if your job is to pull weeds in a dusty, hot, sweaty environment, count juvenile fish in a wet environment, pick up garbage by the side of the road, lumberjack...or are a mom at home with your children.

I agree 100 % with this.i was raised that you were a reflection of your parents when in public so dress appropriately.When at home do as you please. ;) Have you ever been at the Walmart and said to yourself" Did that person look in the mirror before they left the house?" I saw a women shopping in her pajama pants(I know because I have the same pair of smurf sleep pants) and she was my age almost 50 not 20. I was tempted to ask her :D
