Sausage casserole
« on: November 12, 2012, 12:10:29 PM »
Y'all have to try this easy delishious recipe

Oven 350 for 20-30 minutes until getting a little brown

1 roll of sausage cooked and drained
1 bag of cauliflower cooked and mashed with nothing in it
1 8 oz cream cheese very soft
Salt & pepper
Mix all together put in greased casserole dish

My hubby did not agree with me but my first few bites reminded me of when I was little I would mix my eggs, sausage and grits all together in a big bowl . For some reason the cauliflower tasted like grits . If y'all try this let me know if y'all taste the same . I put this under breakfast but I ate it at different times until it was gone . Just count up your carbs to g your total

Totally trying this. You could even go for a different flavor and use Italian sausage instead of breakfast style sausage and maybe add some spinach for veggies? Yum!

This recipe is VERY good with Italian sausage! :) :) :)

After baking 25 minutes, sprinkled with some Italian seasoning,
some low carb marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Put under the broiler long enough to melt and slightly brown the mozzarella.
It tasted like a soft "traditional" lasagna!... YUMMY!!! ;D ;D ;D

Thanks, Jo! :)
