I love this meal........serve with a simple wedge of iceburg
Shrimp and Crab Feast!
Ingredients
1½ pounds large, raw, unpeeled shrimp
2 pounds snow crab
¼ cup olive oil
6 large cloves of garlic, minced (6 net carbs)
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups white wine
Directions
1- Place 2 cups of water into a large covered pot on high heat.
2- When the liquid starts to boil place the snow crab in, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the crab is heated through, then remove from the pot and set aside.
3- Empty the water from the pot and place the olive oil, garlic, butter and Italian seasoning into the pot, stir around to mix, then heat up over medium-high heat.
4- When the oil starts to sizzle, place the shrimp into the oil and cover. Wait 2 minutes then give the shrimp a good stir.
5- Place the snow crab into the pot and pour in the wine.
6- Bring the wine to a boil then remove all the seafood from the pot and plate into individual serving bowls.
7- Pour the wine, oil, butter mixture over the top of the seafood and serve.
