Ticker where are you

OK I have to admit, I am computer Challenged. I tried the ticker , yes I did click on one from forum, I entered all placed  in private , and still can't seem to get it.
  I need help. with the ticker, Perhaps. someone can give me ,a step by step. Please don't forget me. I am just not so good at this computer stuff.

TICKERS:  When you click on anyone's ticker, it takes you to the tickerfactory.com website where you can customize your own.  At the bottom of the first page you click to save & continue to the next page. At the end make sure to choose "DARK" as the backround option so your info shows up on our pages.  When you're finished, scroll down to the bottom & look for the "BB" (bulletin board) code.  Copy the whole thing & paste it into the signature box of your profile. To open & edit your profile, click on your screen name, or on "PROFILE" in the band above this message window to the left.  Look for "Modify Profile" in the menu on the left and click on "Forum Profile Information".   Scroll down to your signature box and paste the TICKER info. After you're finished, scroll down to the bottom right & click the "Change profile" button.

If you click on my ticker it's a bit different.  It will take you to Lilyslim.com  You will see a chart called weight charts...click on that...it will take you to the next page where you will choose a scene then click next.  Choose a slider...click next.  Pick what kind of chart you want.   You can click on each one to decide what you would like to show.  Add your information in and click next.  The next page will show you what your ticker will look like.  If you want to change it click change to go back other wise click add to my Lilyslim  I'm pretty sure it will have you create an account...it's free    that way you can sign back in and make changes.    Once you save it and have an account, on that same page you will see "UBBCode and BB Code"  click on that and copy what is in the Code snippet box.  Now you can add it into your profile.  To open & edit your profile, click on your screen name, or on "PROFILE" in the band above this message window to the left.  Look for "Modify Profile" in the menu on the left and click on "Forum Profile Information".   Scroll down to your signature box and paste the TICKER info. After you're finished, scroll down to the bottom right & click the "Change profile" button.  I hope I haven't confused

In you web browser window, there should be menu bar near the top that has menus like File, Edit, View, etc..
This is true for most all Windows programs that have "Menu Bar" available and enabled.

If you don't see a menu bar, to enable it, right click along the top of the window.
A dialog box should open.
Put a check mark next to the "Menu Bar" option with a left click.

Using your mouse, point to the start of what you want to copy and hold down the left mouse button while dragging the mouse to the end of what you want to copy.
It will be highlighted.
Then, left click on the "Edit" menu on top, and select "Copy".

Now, left click once where you want to paste what you've just copied so the cursor blinks there.
Then, right click on the "Edit" menu on top, and select "Paste".

This process is universal in practically all Windows programs.

Well I did try toosweet, it is not you or the directions they were great. I think I will just forget the ticker.
Like I said, I am just not so good at this computer stuff.
