If anyone has access to the latest Time magazine (June 23, 2014) the cover article "Eat butter" makes some very interesting points!

Quick down low being that since the USDA and AHA has promoted low fat diets (as far back as the 60s) diabetes has skyrocketed and yet cardiac diseases have not diminished.  Processed foods and the chemicals now being used in them are created to cause you to want more. And..."a bagel is no different than a bag of Skittles to your body". It refers to a lot of research showing that the food pyramid is extremely flawed. Very interesting article.

Hi, Jen! :)

We keep hearing more and more about how increased fat and decreased carbs will facilitate weight loss and better health. And this makes me HAPPY to no end!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Since the "fat makes fat" myth has been around for so long, it will take time for folks to see the truth.
But it's nice to see that more and more major publications are not afraid of reporting it.
Slow but sure, our culture is moving in the right direction.
