End Of Summer Low Carb BBQ Chicken legs
Ingredients
Chicken Legs
Lettuce leaves
Marzetti Blue Cheese dressing
FTS Sweet n' Heat BBQ sauce, recipe below
Directions
1- Soak the chicken legs in salted water overnight to make them very plump.
2- Drain the legs and salt and pepper well
3- Heat the grill to low/medium heat and start the cooking process on top of foil or a griddle with the lid closed
4- When the legs are done remove them to a bowl and generously coat them with the BBQ sauce
5- Discard the foil and bring the grill to medium high heat
6- Complete the cooking process charring the legs and sauce
7- Serve over lettuce (which you eat at the end) and blue cheese dressing
Sweet n' Heat BBQ Sauce 1 1/2 net carbs per tablespoon
ingredients
1/2 bottle San-J Szechuan Gluten Free Hot & Spicy Marinade
an equal amount (5 ounces) Heinz reduced sugar ketchup
7 drops FAT TO SKINNY Zero Sweetener...then adjust to taste
Directions
1- (mix all in the San-J bottle and shake)
2- Baste all the food well as it goes onto the heat
3- During the last 10 minutes of cooking baste the food well once again
