shredded cheese
« on: January 28, 2015, 06:26:15 AM »
When you talked about your shredded cheese having carbs, I really appreciated that my cheese here in Australia didn't.  I was obviously too smug for my own good.  I picked up my usual shredded cheese that was zero carbs and low and behold guess what now has an anti-caking ingredient and is now also 1.5c/100g.  Why in the world do they do this. Change a perfectly zero carb item to one with carbs?  I only bought it occasionally to save grating my own for a change, even though it was a little bit more expensive. Gosh darn it they keep changing stuff and not for the better :(

Translation - always read the labels, no matter how many times you have bought it before.

I agree morgan. I have bought products for years and it happens that they change the ingredients. :)
