Dear Sir,
I read with interest your column in the Edmonton Sun, June 28/10 about
Doug Varrieur.
I am an almost 49 year old mother of 8 children, six of whom are
adults and 2 that are 4 and 7. I have spent many years looking after
others. Its time I look after myself! I currently weigh between 127
and 133 and stand a whopping 5'1 1/2"! I have been told many times how
'great' I look after having so many children. But I am not satisfied.
Up until the end of March 2010 I exercised at least 5 times a week
using videos that incorporated aerobic, yoga and weights. I, too, like
Doug, have a sweet tooth and really didn't worry too much about
consequences of that. Getting back into the swing of things is my goal
beginning as soon as the school year ends.( school bus driver!)
This brings me as to the why I need to
lose weight- a stronger feeling
of self-worth, living longer for my younger children and to be that
'hot, sexy thing that my husband 12 years my junior married 5 years ago!
Sincerely,
Veronica
