« on: July 16, 2010, 08:08:27 PM »
anyone out there know the sugar quantity in tomato juice? It does taste better than a diet coke sometimes.
I was traveling today and those aiports have so many temptations!!!!!!!!!!!!! In former days I would just party my way through, eating eating eating. Glad to be trying my very best to learn this new way of life!! Thanks everyone.   on the way to being skinny.

Carbohydrate 10.3 g       Dietary Fiber 0.97 g
Net carbs in 8 ounces would be 9.33g
Not lookin' too good for FTS plan... sorry

I travel all the time and airports are EASY to navigate. The trick is traveling prepared with your arsenal of goodies. I always have beef jerky, almonds, nutrition express protein bars, sugar free candy and crystal light singles in my briefcase. Open a bottle of water, pour one in and BAM.....  8)

I agree with Doug totally -- you have to be prepared everyday because every day will have a new set of "temptations"!  Being a Baptist in the South, we enjoy church socials and EATING !!!  Last night was a major "victory" with tons of food around BUT making wise FTS choices.  When I left the social, I felt great that I had stayed on the FTS program!  Have a great day!

My hubby hates artificial sweetners and he LOVES sweet tea/sodas. One day, I made the Crystal Lite Lemon flavored tea and put lemon wedges in it and he asked me if I had changed the way I make it. I answered that I was trying something new and his reply was that he LOVED it. I told him it was Crystal light and from that moment on, he is an official CL drinker. Just by changing from sodas/sweet tea to CL, he lost over 10lbs.

Not only is tomato juice high in carbs, check the sodium content if you have high blood pressure issues.  Yikes!
