Day 6 & Getting the Hang of this & LOVING it!!!!

So I think I am getting the hang of FTS and I am starting to feel a lot better mentally and physically.

Having questions answered has really helped and my cravings are getting under control. I just had dinner and I can't believe I'm not starving and I've only had around 12 net carbs.  Of course I'll be having a light snack before bed if hungry so I don't wake up in the night (hate that)

I also love what Doug says about eating when you are hungry and not by the clock. That has been huge for me.

Can anyone tell me if what I had today looks reasonable?

Breakfast: 1 hardboiled egg, 1 GG crispbread with butter

Mid-day snack: 1 string cheese.

Lunch: Takeout of Asian stir fried veggies and chicken (2 oz chicken, brocalli, collard greens, snap peas in an oil based dressing with chives and cilantro)

Snack: I.B. Bakery One Net Carb Muffin - Chocolate - Very delicious and satisfying. Light but filling it has 15 g of fibre!

Later 1.5 square of Chocoperfection dark chocolate (just got hungry in the car)

Dinner: 1 beef shish kabob wth 4 cups romaine lettuce with oil, vinegar, lemon juice and italian seasonings.

I've only had about 3 cups of water (gotta drink some more today)

For a snack later if I need it I'll have 1 tbsp of natural peanut butter with a gg crispbread.

Looks good Nic! Just be careful of the asian takeout.Ask them to put your sauce on the side .They use huge amounts of cornstarch.Get some soy packets instead. :)

You also need to ask them to stir fry your food in oil only.....no sauce, as Umpa said...loaded with corn starch.

it was at a grocery store and it didn't have any taste or look of terriyaki or soya sauce. it was mostly oily with onions and cilantro and no real taste of any sauce but i agree totally if i were taking out at a chinese restaurant i would have them saute in chicken broth only and NO sauces.
