Just wanted to share a type of munchies I keep nearby to conquer the “hungries”. They are Sea Salt Almonds by Blue Diamond – found at Walmart in the nut/chips/beef jerky section. They also have BBQ, but I haven't checked the carb count on those...
The carb count is 5g – 3g of fiber for a total of 2g for 24 almonds.
Twenty-four almonds = 2g; 12 almonds – 1g; 6 almonds = ½ g...
I take 6 almonds and cut them in half or thirds and keep them in my purse, car, or next to the computer. When I feel the hungries coming on and I can’t stop to eat, I nibble on these (I chew each piece before putting another one in my mouth) and drink water in between nibbles to tide me over. My stomach is happy with the 18 pieces eaten, and I’m happy because it was only ½ gram.
You can’t fool Mother Nature, but you CAN trick the tummy!
