This is the fts friendly version of my chili! I have 6 in my family so I make a BIG crockpot of chili...you can half it or make it all and freeze the leftovers for a fast meal later! It makes roughly 12 servings with 46 net carbs in the entire recipe and my kids usually have seconds!!!
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef (0 carbs)
2 T. garlic (minced) (6 carbs)
2 jars (14oz.) Pace Mild Picante' Sauce (28 carbs)
3 cans black soy beans (10.5 carbs)
1 tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. chili powder (more if you like it spicy)
1 1/2 cups chicken broth (1.5 carbs)
1 cup water
Brown ground beef with the garlic (drain). Place in crock pot
add 2 jars of picante' sauce
drain and rinse the cans of black soy beans and add them to the crock pot
Add all the other ingredients and stir well.
Cook on low for 2 or more hours...serve with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream!!
