Scott in Florida - 3 weeks
« on: September 22, 2010, 06:34:25 AM »
3rd week sees another 3 pounds gone.  I really don't miss them at all.   :D

It's interesting how I can weigh myself at night before going to bed, and again the following morning, and somehow during the night I have lost a pound or even more sometimes.  Anyone know why that is?  Seems like if I could just sleep for a month straight, I would be at my ideal weight!

Congrats Scott!! Woo hoo!!

As for the scale, I think it has to do with digesting food because in the morning I can be several pounds lighter than the night before. I bet Doug knows exactly why! Maybe we all just need to sleep for weeks at a time?? LOL

Your body is a machine, it operates 24 hours per day. At night it's at idle, just like the car sitting in the driveway running but in park. The engines are still running and they need fuel. Your body needs fuel to run your lungs, heart and brain during sleep. By refusing to give your body fuel by mouth it gets the fuel from your storage warehouse........... :)
