Dangerous Walk Today

I walked for an hour today! However, during my walk, I was literally nearly killed. I was walking on the sidewalk in town near the elementary school and a UPS truck swerved suddenly. The truck was so close to me that I had to duck to avoid the large side mirror and I felt it pass just above my head. That was scary! Then, near the end of my walk, I stepped in a hole in the paved walkway along the river (in our local park) and fell to the ground completely. My right knee is skinned up kind of bad and I'm very sore all over. BUT, I walked for an hour today!

oh my goodness owensmath...wow what a close call...I hope you are alright...did that driver even stop to check on you?  Your poor knee....take a hot bath to relax your muscles and rest.  So, glad you were not seriously injured or run down.  You must have had an angel watching over you!  Congrats on your hour walk, I'd take a different, safer route! Not to make light of your near peril, just to make you laugh. ;)

Donna, I KNOW you had angels watching over you, but your guardian angel just may get written up for letting you come THAT close yesterday!  ha ha  Wow! So thankful you are ok!   We couldn't make it without YOU! ....especially ME! You are a great inspiration to SO many people!   :)

Ohhhhhhhhh!....How scarey huh...Bet that stays with ya for a bit including the pain from falling...Just glad you were able to come tell us about it...Hope your not feeling to sore after such a day...
