Xylitol Question

If I have a recipe that calls for 1 1/2 cups of sugar do I use that much Xylitol ?  Is it cup for cup with regular sugar ? Thanks

Xylitol is 1/2 for sugar so it would be a 1/4 cup.  ;D

1/2 cup - 3/4 cup depending on if there are any other sweet ingredients ;)

I think i confused you beebs with my response!
1 1/2 cups sugar= 1/2 -3/4 cup xylitol. Its half a cup if there are other sweet ingredients

I subsitute sugar free maple syrup for the Karo corn syrup in my pecan pie. If you do that Jo use a smaller amount of xylitol.The syrup has malitol in it and is very sweet ;)

I made it but my crust turned out soggy  I had to buy frozen cocunut and I think it did not dry out enough or I did not cook the crust long enough , but it was good tyler & bob liked it
